The casting has been announced - Essie Davis as Miss Fisher. She is, in fact, the author's choice, and Kerry says that she also gets to vet the scripts, so that's a relief. So far, she's pleased with what they're doing to get 1928 right.
It sounds very exciting. I can't wait to see it. There's something quite wonderful about historic Melbourne. I was listening to a program on the ABC, "By Design", in which Alan Saunders and a guest were travelling around the CBD on a tram, discussing the buildings on the way.
