Wolfborn Giveaway!

I had this bright idea that I would post a sample chapter from my novel Wolfborn on Goodreads. Unfortunately, I haven't worked out a way of doing it. My publisher sent me a PDF of Chapter 1 for the purpose, but copy-and-paste is simply not working properly - it looks awful! - and I have no idea how to just upload a PDF file.

I then went to the Goodreads Giveaway section, but it seems to be for the purpose of giving away preview copies of your forthcoming novel and this one is out.

So here's the deal: anyone who asks me, by September 4th, for a copy of the sample chapter, will get it emailed to them on that date. The first two people after that who have read the sample and liked it enough to ask will get a signed copy, wherever they are. The very first will also get a CD with an MP3 file of writer and actor George Ivanoff reading a sample - not the same chapter! - from my book and one from his novel Gamer's Quest.

If you're interested, post a comment here letting me know.

Wow, this seems like a pretty sweet deal! I'd love to check out the first chapter of Wolfborn. I've actually been eyeing it off in the bookstore for a while since it's got that really eye catching orange colour. :)

Thank you for this sort-of-giveaway, and for popping into my blog to say hello! :)

Hi Saskia!

I've emailed you a copy of the PDF file. Please feel free to share it. And thanks for welcoming me to your blog. I've been amazed at the number of YA blogs around and they are so-o-o wonderful! When I get around to it, in the next few days, I'm going to put a link through to yours.

The eye-catching cover is a part of the PDF I've sent you, but hopefully you'll like what's inside even more. ;-)

Hi Sue,

I know I've read the book already, but I was hoping to possibly ask you to do a guest post on my blog and have a signed copy of the book as a prize? What are your thoughts?

Hi Sue, thanks for commenting on my blog. :) How's Wolfborn doing? I've been searching up and down everytime I walk into a bookstore, but I've had no luck finding it. I'd love to read a preview chapter too!

Hi Tina! Welcome back!

Wolfborn is doing quite well, it has earned back its advance and scored me my first - decent! - lot of royalties. I'd love to see it do better still, of course. I've emailed you the sample; if it interests you, let me know. I might be able to score you a review copy if you have time to do that, what with VCE and all.

Lan, I've emailed you too, with a proposal. See what you think.
