There's a lot in it that outside my field of knowledge, but I was particularly interested in (and totally agree with) the comments about priests and shamans, and the modern day misrepresentation of both. Of course 'a Christian priest is a magician' - the oft-used phrase 'hocus pocus' comes from the Latin words of consecration at Mass - 'hoc est corpus meum'!
