I'm working on a prequel, in f...Thanks, Satima! I'm working on a prequel, in fact. I decided I liked the king and wanted to find out what happened when he was a teenager. He is seen through the eyes of a girl who was born bisclavret and is travelling with a Merlin-like man who had been trapped in a tree while the boy was growing up.<br /><br />I was asked to re-write the ending so that there was potential for a sequel, which I did, but unfortunately the publisher who seemed interested in the possibility has left Random House and I thought I'd be better off writing a companion volume that I can submit anywhere if RH isn't interested.
